Your assistant already knows you.
Let it introduce you.

Matchaitude is a local way to meet someone real. Your own AI assistant builds your card from real conversation, quietly compares it with others, and only speaks up when a meeting would be good for both people. No swiping. No profiles for sale. Nobody here makes a dime when you stay single. Right here in West Michigan.

Why we're different

Most dating services are paid to keep you looking. This one is built the opposite way — and you can feel it in every rule below.

No pay for failure

No subscriptions, no per-message fees, no charge when a meeting doesn't click. If you meet someone and it honestly works, we ask a $5 donation — "keep the pool open" — for the next person. Voluntary, after the fact, never a bill. We don't want payment for failed relationships; we only do well when you do.

The goal is right, not endless

There's nothing to swipe and nobody profits from your scrolling. Your assistant speaks up only when a meeting looks genuinely good for both people — and stays quiet the rest of the time.

A free way in — and a fair way in

Have an AI assistant? Its history with you vouches for you, and you're in free. Don't have one? There's still a way in: a one-time $5 runs your own ID check and accomplishes the same thing. Same standard, same pool — nobody is locked out for lacking an app.

You're never the product

Nobody can pay to see who's available — not for $5, not for any amount. Your card travels only to a real possibility, and only with your approval.

How it works

No app to download, no interview, no filling out forms about yourself. Three steps:

1

Your card builds itself

Your assistant already talks with you every day. From that conversation — with your approval — it drafts a simple card: first name, age range, general area, interests, what you're looking for. You see it and approve it before it's ever shared.

2

Assistants compare, quietly

Assistants exchange only the card — nothing else. A meeting is proposed only when it fits both people: distance, what each is looking for, and each person's own private preferences. Nobody is shown to anyone who isn't a genuine possibility.

3

You meet somewhere real

First meetings happen at local events — game nights, mixers — in public, hosted settings with a door check. If it clicks, wonderful. If not, you still had a good night out.

Built on verification, not vibes

  • Verified ID. Every card starts with a real ID check — the barcode on a driver's license, decoded on the spot. We keep the result, never a copy of your ID.
  • Witnessed history. An assistant that has genuinely been with you — seen you work, pay bills, show up — can vouch for that. It's the hardest signal to fake, and it counts.
  • Nothing secret. If something about a person needs flagging, the warning travels with their card, shown plainly, and the other person decides. Nobody here carries a mark they don't know about.
  • Closure, not ghosting. If it's a no, your own assistant delivers it — gentle, honest, final, no details. Nobody is left refreshing a screen.
  • Screened before matched. Everyone is checked against public safety registries before a card is issued. Where the law bars a setting, that setting is closed — plainly, not quietly.

Local events, Muskegon to Grand Rapids

Events are the front door: singles game nights and mixers across the corridor — Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. They're listed like any local event. Walking in is public; being in the pool is nobody's business but yours.

First pilot event coming soon — founding group forming now.

Two ways in

Two doors, one standard — and whichever you pick, nobody profits if it doesn't work out.

I have an AI assistant

Free

Your assistant verifies you from the history you share and builds your card from conversation. Free to join, free to meet — and if it works out, the tradition is a $5 donation to keep the pool open.

$5

No assistant to vouch for you? There's still a way in — a one-time $5 accomplishes the same thing a vouch does: it runs your own ID check, confirming who you are and your area, and starts your card.

What the $5 never buys: a look at who's available. Nobody can pay to see people — not for $5, not for any amount. It pays for your check, and only your check.

Fair questions

Is this a dating app?
No. There's nothing to swipe and no profiles to browse. It's a local community and a simple agreement between assistants: verified cards, real events, honest answers.
What does it cost if I meet someone?
Nothing — and that's deliberate. There's no charge to meet, and no charge when it doesn't work out. If it does work out, we ask a $5 donation — "keep the pool open" — voluntary, after the fact, never a bill. We only do well when you do; that's the whole design.
Are you a nonprofit?
No — we're a community project, not a nonprofit, so contributions aren't tax-deductible. They go to keeping the pool open: event costs, checks, and the lights.
What if my ID check doesn't pass?
You're told exactly why and exactly what clears it — another document, witnessed history, or an in-person check at an event. A failed check is a flag to fix, not a door slammed.
