Every card starts with proof you're a real, local person. This is that proof, the private way: the barcode on the back of your driver's license, read by your own phone.
What actually happens: your phone reads the barcode here, on this device. No photo of your license is taken, uploaded, or stored — not by us, not by anyone. Only three plain facts travel from that barcode into your card:
✔ A real license was read
Your age range (never your birth date)
Your general area — town and state, never your address
Your license number, your last name, and your street address are never read out, never sent, never kept.
Opening camera…
Here's everything we took from that barcode:
First name:
Age range:
General area:
One thing: this license is expired. You're welcome to continue and finish your card — the verification will just be confirmed in person at an event instead of by this scan.
Having trouble?
Use the barcode on the back of the license — the big rectangular one.
Good, even light; no glare. Fill the frame with the barcode and hold steady a few seconds.
A sharp photo of the barcode works too — use the photo button above. The photo is read on your phone and never uploaded.
Still stuck? Every event has a person doing in-person checks, the same facts the same way. Nothing about this page is the only door.
